It's one thing to disagree with a lifestyle, but it's another thing when you're insulting people for taking joy in something you just happen to hate. Ask yourself, is it really harming anyone? If the answer is "no", you can't get away with being a jackass without having people pile onto you.

So what if someone is having sex for fun? As long as it's safe, sane and consensual, there is no fucking problem. Having a sex drive doesn't make someone stupid. Being a virgin doesn't make you an angel. It sure doesn't mean you're on a pedestal, either! The problem isn't necessarily people having sex, it's people doing it irresponsibly. Using protection is a smart way to go, so how does that make the horny person in question stupid?

What about BDSM? It is one of the most misunderstood kinks ever, and the publication of a certain fanfic-turned-novel didn't help disprove the stigmas surrounding the participants! So the idea of someone being turned on by (eg.) being chained up and whipped is weird to you? So what? It's harmless roleplay at best. If you surf the internet long enough, you'll find there is always a weirder fetish out there.

May I ask what the hell happened to the "Golden Rule"?
